Travel the Oklawaha River, pass through the Moss Bluff lock and Dam, and 12 miles later enter the Silver River with six miles of no wake zone (A fantastic time for photos). The water becomes crystal clear and is 99.9 percent pure.

ontinue on to Silver Springs the largest artesian spring in the world. Along the way keep your eyes open for alligators, monkeys, black bear, white tail deer, birds of prey, river otters and much more.
The diversity of natural systems provides habitat and feeding areas for wildlife such as wading birds including glossy and white ibis, little blue and tri-colored herons, and great and snowy egrets. Thousands of sandhill cranes spend the winter in the Ocklawaha River Basin. Red-tailed and red-shouldered hawks, osprey and three owl species live here year-round. Other animal species like the black bear, river otter, gray fox and bobcat, are returning to the area as restoration proceeds.

Bicycle the Paisley Woods Trail or fish in one of many lakes or rivers. There is even a rifle range free to the public.

Marion County is home to many fine golf courses. Golden Ocala is famous for replica holes from well-known courses. Silver Springs Shores has a slope of 131 & stroke rating of 73.7 from the championship tees. Summerfield courses are closest to the Inn. In Lake County Black Bear is hard from all the tees and from the Championship tees has a 134 slope and 74.7 stroke rating. Harbor Hills is close to the Inn & has some scenic views overlooking Lake Griffin. A little further south El Campeon at Mission Inn was built in 1926 and its sister Las Colinas was designed by Gary Koch. They are both extremely challenging with the elevation changes making for some spectacular scenery.
The main attraction is an awesome 2 mile National Caliber Motocross Track with varied elevation changes, challenging technical sections and a highly technical 1/2 mile section for expert and intermediate riders. The Outback Track is great for vintage bikes and novice riders; Sand Track for those wanting a good workout in Florida's famous sand; European style Rollercoaster Track with all natural terrain and no man-made jumps or obstacles; A fabulous clay Supercross Track for those wishing to develop their skills on a challenging and tight course; and an awesome Pee Wee Track for the racers of tomorrow.
