Explore downtown Mount Dora the old fashioned way or perhaps a field trip on the Marjorie Harris Carr Greenway.  Choose from a romantic lakeside excursion or a tour of historic homes. Summer hours 7-10 Fri-Sat, otherwise 6-10 Tues-Sat.  Cost $12-16 pp.

Ocala Stud consists of 3 farms totaling 500 acres in the Ocala/Marion County area.  The main farm and office,  located on Shady Road south of SR 200 in Ocala, boasts a state-of-the-art 5/8 mile training track complete with six stall starting gate. Tours by appointment. 352-237-2171

Located 30 minutes NW of the Inn in beautiful SW Marion County.

When the ranch first opened in 1987 there were 9500 registered Paso Finos in the nation. As of September 2004 there were almost 55,000. The Paso Fino (fine gait in Spanish) is truly the most unique horse because of its temperament, gait and beauty. Their gait makes the ride much more enjoyable. 65,000 people are hosted annually by The Ranch.

Situated next to the Ocala National Forest JNB has direct access to the more than 100 miles of horse trails in the Forest. Choose from a  one or two hour ride beginning at 9:00 or 11:00.
